Job Description: The Mental Health Therapist position will be responsible for providing diagnostic assessments, therapy, counseling, and support services for a diverse caseload, including adults, adolescents and families experiencing mental health issues, communication challenges, or family conflict. They are deeply familiar with other services and resources within the community and work closely with them to provide information and support when required.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Maintain confidentiality of records relating to clients’ treatment.
  • Gather information about community mental health needs and resources that could be used in conjunction with therapy.
  • Plan outreach and referral activities in surrounding communities.
  • Plan and conduct programs to prevent substance abuse to improve community health and counseling services.
  • Assess clients’ mental condition bases on review of client information, interviews, observation, tests, and collaboration with other staff members.
  • Serve as a client advocate to coordinate required services or to resolve emergency problems in crisis situations.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans based on DA, clinical experience and knowledge.
  • Conduct initial family assessments and refer patients, clients, or family members to community resources or to specialists as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience (2-5+ years) with providing diagnostic assessment and therapy services to a full range of individuals from youth through adulthood.
  • Valid license as an LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, LFMT, or LCAT other license or permits will be accepted with the approval of management.
  • Maintain professional licensure and/or certification throughout employment.
  • Ability to work as a team member and cooperatively.
  • Must be able to work flexible work schedule including evening and weekend on occasion.
  • Superb organizational skill.
  • Ability to guide, direct or influence people.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Empathy for clients.
  • Able to establish and maintain effective working relationship with mentally or emotionally disabled persons and their families.

Job Description: We seek an administrative assistant to join our fast-growing, client centered mental health practice. The ideal candidate is passionate about mental health, efficient, detail-oriented, and skilled in developing and maintaining workplace and customer relationships.

Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Manage all patient documents, reports, appointments, and payments.
  • Maintain HIPAA Guidelines.
  • Assist therapists and non-clinical team with tasks, as needed.
  • Review and maintain written and computer files, plus conduct data entry.
  • Assist in the coordination of administrative functions, including budget, personnel, meetings, and clerical duties.
  • Research and collect information.
  • Assist with all budget activities, including accounting.
  • Help implement new programs, procedures, methods, and systems.
  • Conduct fiscal reviews, surveys, and collect information on administrative matters.
  • Maintain meeting minutes.
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings and conferences.
  • Coordinate operations, including purchasing, equipment, property inventory, building, equipment, and disposal.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma is usually required. An associate’s degree from an accredited college or university is preferred, but not required
